The annual Elite 8 fishing tournament, featuring bass anglers from various Louisiana bass clubs, is scheduled for April 30th-May 1st, & 2nd, 2026.
Bass clubs from across the region are invited to join us at Toledo Bend Reservoir for our annual three-day tournament—an event built around camaraderie, great food, and friendly competition. This gathering is about more than fishing; it’s an opportunity for anglers to connect, share stories, enjoy time on the water, and celebrate the sport we love. Whether you're here to win or simply to relax and socialize, this tournament promises unforgettable memories and lasting friendships.

Now in its 3rd annual year, the Southern Bass Club Association Tournament brings together bass clubs and passionate anglers from across the region for three days of camaraderie, competition, and unforgettable time on the water. The Southern Bass Club Association unites fishermen who share a deep respect for the sport while promoting conservation, responsible stewardship of our fisheries, and the protection of Toledo Bend’s legendary bass population.
This event is built around the excitement of live weigh-ins and a commitment to the future of the sport through our live release process, ensuring each fish is returned safely to the water to be caught again another day. With great food, shared stories, and friendly competition, this tournament is more than just a fishing event—it’s a gathering of enthusiasts celebrating the tradition and spirit of bass fishing.
Whether you're competing for bragging rights or simply enjoying the fellowship, the Southern Bass Club Association Tournament offers a unique experience that brings anglers together and keeps them coming back year after year.

Our mission is to host competitive bass fishing events that highlight sportsmanship and conservation, ensuring that every fish and every lake is treated with respect—today and for future generations.

"Fish hard. Respect the resource."
